A post of Dr D...

Being origin from china... pronunciation was expected not easy to understand... students always go "HUH". Hereby, he came to "enlighten" us with some green chemistry knowledge... but...... *doris was always lost in her own world*

wonders how "good" was it? i shall give examples which i could recall... =X

Dr D: "I'm not here to conduct an english lesson" he do add on smth which is not pleasant that i cant remember. (??!!!)

Dr D was going through his tutorial.. well he post it at the very last min like just few mins before the lecture?! -.-

Student: ".... but your oxygen is not balanced in the equation..."

Dr D: no reply.. seems he nv get the qn.. and cont with what he's doing, going to next question...

then

Student: "ok, lets get the oxygen done first.. (starting to explain)"

Dr D was still BLUR and dont get it... another student started to explain again.. but.... then one student stood up and walk forward to attempt explaining... (i'm stunned. lol) but Dr D "rejected", and started to rebalance the equation again... then it was corrected... BUT i guess it doesnt give us 100% assurance that its the correct ans. =/

next..

Dr D was coming to another question that requires to calc e-factor....

Dr D: e-factor is .... by product over... product? (unsure tone)

then he tried to search from his lectures for the definition of it... but no idea from which lecture.. (click back main ppt)... paused few secs...

Dr D: ok, ask u all one question... what is the definition of e-factor? (OMG!!!!)

Students: *unsure* giving unsure ans too.

then Dr D go back search his lecture slides, and he found one slide with relevant calculation on it but not the definition.. -.-"

Dr D: "lets have a 5 mins break.." (hello?! we are only having one hr lecture? >.<)

i guess he want to clear his own doubts. in the end nv thou... lol..

the rest of it.. no comments.. basically he was just teaching in his own world.. leaving the students "hanging" around... zzzz...

Student: "so your test does not include prof L chapters?"

Dr D: we dont have any test.. (?!!)

Another student: "quiz quiz"

Dr D: "MAYBE"

-.-" not really sure about what exactly happen, as i heard from the girls.. cmi... faint...

*doris dont dare to imagine how the upcoming quiz and exam will be* arghh...
